Apparently Briony thought she was funny, and that made Persephone grin. The way she talked either confused or amused people and while it didn't matter which, she liked the latter a bit more. "Ghost," Persephone replied, still ignoring him. And the few others who were hanging out in the area. It'd been a pretty tragic event by human standards so it wasn't surprising that they were all clinging to this plane. Just stupid. Persephone hated putting up with dead people. Were there a way to switch out or completely get rid of psychic abilities then she'd have jumped all over it to have hers gone. "They're annoying as hell. All pissed off because they got blown to Kingdom Come and they expect me to care or do something about it. Like I would even if I could." She wouldn't. Persephone was no ghost whisperer. She wasn't even an exorcist, though that idea was sheer gold.
"Special petting zoo since the regular kiddos can't come play without getting their digits chomped off." Persephone would pay to see a regular parent who let their kid play with the Legionaries. They'd either be one fucked up psycho by even her standards or completely insane. Shifting, Persephone glanced over to the nearest Legionarie. The one that wasn't too close to Briony. Looked like they got that Fear vibe too. That made Persephone feel a lot better about it. "Well you gotta look real close," Persephone explained, blowing a smoke ring into the air. "At lots of pictures; see the ones that don't get older while everyone around them does. Or you know, just hope you catch sign of a tell." Persephone winked at the sight of that tail and lifted her shirt up enough to show off the palm-sized patch of skin on her left hip that was covered in the snake-like black and dark blue scales. "Orphanage huh? My kid ended up there, made it hell for everyone else." Letting a Demon of Fear wander around the streets would've been pretty hilarious. She'd have left her out there. "Daddy's got a flash of good taste then. And... it's just Excess, kid. Press all the buttons without trying and make people do all the things. Liiiiike, you want to do something right now?" Persephone leaned closer, grinning. "You'll really want to do it with me here." Whether she effected herself or just naturally gave into doing whatever she wanted was anyone's guess. "Nine-year-old Fear and a grown up Shepherd who looks like a kid... sounds like your class is good times." Those were some damn messed up eyes. Oh hey black, that's what the girls do. They weren't even demons. "I get away with murder too; it's fun isn't it?" Persephone's eyes flicked after the legionarie that had skittered off, wondering if it was honestly scared of Briony. "Wanna come see if there's anything interesting happening? Maybe we can tug a Eurynome along with us, see how long it listens. I love playing with the lessers." Good a time as any for a miniature Sin to get a lesson on how to play with them. Persephone was fascinated by the idea that they were scared of her.
