Yeah, the moon wasn't exactly all fun and games for the Rooks. Corwin didn't mind it, despite the fact that he hurt like hell the next day. He could just work through it. Kiley couldn't and that was what hurt him every moon. He could get up and go and she was often curled up for the day after. It sucked but it wasn't changing any time soon. At least Mason helped.
Corwin waited for Farren to finish in the bathroom, leaning against the counter. There wasn't much of a line and he wasn't in a rush. "Naturally," he confirmed, knowing that all too well what the other were was like. As she did her thing behind the counter, he held up his camera and framed a shot of her without taking it. He didn't want to poke the wolf. "I could go for a mocha, extra whipped cream. But you don't have to get it." If she did, they'd get a sweet tip cause that's the kind of guy Corwin was. "I'm glad that you didn't kill the ones in your way. I know how I can get sometimes and people are lucky to still have their heads."
