I howl when we're apart
Who: Dominic and Keira, with Crowe (NPC'd)
Where: The twins' place // Keira's apartment
When: 4:30pm, shortly after this
Whatever had possessed her to bring her to this moment, Keira had no clue. Well, she did, only she was refusing to acknowledge it. Something about spending the full moon alone, when she knew that Dominic would be stuck in his cage, alone but for his sister -- that was unacceptable, somehow. It had been her job to keep him company. The need for 'Milla to be involved at all had only been because Keira was not around. And now that they were in the same place again, was there really any reason why she should not be around him? Oh, there were several, but she was carefully overlooking them, if only to soothe the unease that she could feel underneath her skin. It was not giving in if she was the one to offer, or at least that was what she kept telling herself on the way over. She'd sent Dominic a text once she'd left her apartment, making sure the driver that'd brought his cage around had gotten it up to her condo in one piece, setting it up in her living room. Once everything was in order and she'd paid the man, Keira had done a last minute check to make sure she had everything she needed. Something about the tone of the evening made her opt for being comfortable rather than dressing up, but she still found herself fretting at her reflection in the mirror. Calm down, Crowne. This isn't a date. This is just... What? What was this?
Taking a deep breath, she hurried out to her car, lest she lose what little bit of nerve she'd been able to scrape together. It didn't take long at all for Keira to drive over to where Dominic was staying with Camilla -- seeing as they lived right in the same neighborhood. Really, there was almost no point in driving, seeing as she could have walked over. There was something to be said for being the one behind the wheel, though. It gave her a measure of control over the situation -- a feeling that she felt like she was lacking, just now. Climbing out of her car, Keira jogged up to the complex, finding her way to the appropriate floor. Coming up to the correct door, she rapped her knuckles against the surface instead of ringing the bell. Anxiety and nerves hit her as soon as she was standing still, and she took a deep breath, letting it out and hoping that that would do her any bit of good in preparation. Hadn't he said that he would come down when she got here? Now that she was here, she felt like she couldn't be made to care over the minor details. Why had she made such a big deal about this, again? Oh, right. Because she could not get the thought of Dominic kissing her out of her mind. Yeah, that.
