I gotta get my groove 'cause my mind done gone
Who: Keelin, Marisa & Pugsley (NPC)
Where: Outside of Camelot Place
When: Afternoon
"You really ought to hurry up." The rain pattered against her umbrella and Keelin held it with one hand while the other held a leash that traveled down to her familiar's collar. 'You can't just rush these things, you know. It'll come when it comes.' Pugsley's attention was fixed on the grass around him. It was a small little patch, planted by the landscapers of the town or whoever, to make the sidewalks look prettier. It was convenient for Keelin and Pugsley because this meant she didn't really have to go so far from her apartment to walk him... and Pugsley because he just liked coming outside in general. On rainy days like this, though, it was especially convenient. "Pugsley, it's raining." She urged, raising her eyebrows. 'Yeah... I know.' He quirked his head up at her as if she had just realized the weather. Sighing and shifting, Keelin tapped the toe of her sandal impatiently against the wet cement. "Any day now." She remarked as he continued to sniff each individual blade of grass. 'What's your rush? Not like your date's tonight so you don't have anything to hurry off to.' The blonde's face flushed a little at his mention of her 'date.' "It's not a date." She muttered for the hundredth time. All week she had been debating back and forth with herself whether or not to fully consider it a date. Regardless of whether it was or wasn't, it was happening tomorrow night. Reggie was taking her out to dinner to make up for the... disaster of the other day. A catastrophe result of the pug at the other end of the leash. A car drove by, the windows cracked and the music blaring. Keelin didn't understand why someone needed to drive with their windows down in the rain or why they needed a song that was nearly ten years old at a deafening decibel. Pugsley, on the other hand, did not care about the why. All he knew was that his heart song had just filled his ears and he could not contain himself. 'OH. KEELY. I KNOW THAT SONG. I LOVE THAT SONG!!!' He proceeded to shiver and shake, jumping from one side to the other, his tail wagging merrily in the air. His movements were disjointed and clumsy as he flopped around in the wet grass. "What on earth are you doing?" Keelin couldn't stifle her laughter at her familiar's actions. 'I've got a case of the dancey-butt! I cannot be stopped!' There was no telling who heard the familiar, because he wasn't just channeling his thoughts to his witch. |
