Come away to the darkness
Who: Tessa and Lee
Where: a random street in SO
When: sunrise
Trudging down the road, Lee could only imagine the state his clothing was in. Where once his clothes had been merely rain-soaked, now they were dingy and dirty looking. As soon as the sun had come up, he had left whatever place he'd ended up staying in the night prior -- wherever it was whats-her-name had ended up taking him once night had begun to fall. Much of what had happened after that was a blur to him, thanks to him pegging a fae-blooded psychic. Still, even with his clothes sticking to his flesh, he was sure he looked a sad sight in the rain, walking as he was back to his house. It had taken him a little while to orient himself after he'd left the woman's home, and once he finally had, he was making the attempt to get back to his place as quickly as he could. He did not want a familiar face seeing him like this. Especially Chey. Just that simple thought had Lee bringing his hands up to rake through his short curls, pushing a sigh past his lips. "What the fuck is wrong with me?" It was a good question, and cursing aside, Leland would really like to figure that out.
Really, everything had been fine, until yesterday. Well, things had been more than fine, what with spending time with Cheyenne. It always had a way of making him feel better, even if his day was going well, which it had been. Seeing Chey was his favorite part of any day, and playing in the rain with her? Oh yeah, Lee had definitely enjoyed that. A little too much. He couldn't take it -- he'd had to do something about all the tension between his childe and himself. Wouldn't it have been smarter to kiss her? Idiot. Some part of him was stuck seeing her as some sort of innocent, despite everything. It made absolutely no sense to him, but there it was. He couldn't just do that. No matter how badly he wanted her. "Nope, can't do it. It's like trying to touch the sun. You get burned if you try."
