He was right, Lux realized, she had withdrawn and not all of it had to do with her PTSD. "I didn't. It was both things, really." She confessed. Lux put a hand over one of his, smiling. "Of course I had to tell you, it's too big a deal." What she left unsaid was that since she was now more open to being in a relationship she didn't want to withdraw anything that significant from him.
When she heard Troy react to her hug and laugh, Lux realized she had probably used too much of her strength. "Sorry!" She exclaimed. "I actually don't know my own strength. I've broken like three cupboard doors since this happened." Which was a little bit funny, when she thought about it. Lux grinned brightly when Troy kissed her cheek, but she scoffed at the compliment. "No, you are!" And he was, for all reasons in the world, for making her feel this good, and accepted and loved. He kissed her lips and Lux closed her eyes, for the first time letting herself go completely with nothing in the back of her mind nagging at her. It was a wonderful feeling.
