With a chuckle, Lux waved a dismissive hand at Troy. "I bet it is, don't worry." She watched him get the wine with a smile that only grew when he reassured her about her forgetfulness. "Thanks." She said, taking the glass from his hand. "Aw come on if I were the blushing type I'd be blushing right now." She protested, raising her glass before tasting the wine. When she was done she took a seat at the table after Troy. "Aw how are his girls?" Lux admired Reggie for the simple fact that he was raising two girls on his own. Then she realized it seemed to be a thing with her having friends who were single dads. Well not really in Simon's case but his ex didn't count as far as she was concerned.
Lux raised her eyebrows at the news of a new female neighbor, but smiled. Of course Troy would go over to help, he was a sweetheart that way. "So no dad in the picture either? Sheesh this town is full of single parents." She tried to get the protective feeling she was getting in the back of her head to stay there, because it would be silly to be jealous of someone Troy had just met. Especially because why should she be jealous?! "I'm fine. You know, better." She wondered if she should tell him now or wait until after dinner. Probably the latter.
