The front door to Troy's apartment was up a small set of stairs in the back of his dojo and he get readily to his feet once he heard the doorbell ring. Stop it with the nerves, Troy. Zen. Breathe. As he moved towards the door, he thought he heard something on the other side. Had Lux said something? He opened the door with a smile, stepping back to allow Lux to come past him into his apartment before he shut it again. Lux always looked beautiful to him, but it seemed as though she'd dressed up a little bit, too. The smile that tugged at Troy's lips wasn't feigned at all as he took in Lux's outfit. "Hello, beautiful." He moved in easily to give her a hug, figuring it would be better to get over his nerves first off. He leaned down to plant a kiss to her cheek, the smile on his face growing as he pulled away enough to look into her face. "You look lovely."
Moving over to the kitchen and the food that was still on the stove on low, Troy turned the heat off completely. He pulled the pans off the stove and set them down on little pot holders on the table. All of it smelled amazing, and he felt his stomach growl just a little bit. "I hope you're hungry, I made chicken Alfredo." He moved over to the fridge to check to make sure he had a little of everything. "Anything particular you want to drink? I've got water, juice, milk,...beer, though I think the wine I have would go better with the alfredo sauce." Turning back to Lux he smiled, wondering just how the evening would progress. Hopefully swimmingly, and maybe he wouldn't even have to mention the whole "can't keep our hands off each other" thing. Well, so long as he kept the table between himself and Lux.
