Lux had become a lot more relaxed since coming clean to Simon about being a bitten werewolf. She felt like a huge weight had been lifted off her back - and chest - and she knew now that she could always count on him no matter what. That it could be worse and she wasn't a monster if she didn't want to be, there were ways to ensure she would never hurt another person because of that.
Which brought her immediately to Troy. A lot of things made her think of him these days, it felt to Lux like he was weaseling himself into her heart in a way he hadn't been able to before, and it felt kind of weird in a good way. While she wasn't ready to call it love Lux was coming to terms with the fact that she liked him a lot - naked or otherwise. When he invited her to dinner Lux immediately accepted, and armed with the courage of her best friend's support decided to tell Troy all about what was really going on with her. Hopefully he would put his money where his mouth was and love her anyway. She needed love, she'd realized.
Having dressed up a bit more than usual when she went over a friend's house for dinner, Lux rang Troy's doorbell before she lost her guts or the nervous smile on her face. Then she realized she hadn't brought anything and felt like a rude tool. "God dammit I knew I'd forgotten something. Fuck." She muttered.
