She would go anywhere for a decent cup of coffee. That didn't mean that she's lost her sense of taste and she knew that they should venture away from Scarlet Oak to find a decent place to dine. And she knew that there were a few places she'd scouted out in Ann Arbor, places where they would have a little more privacy than the restaurants here. So the choice was easily made when it was left up to her. "There is a little French bistro in Ann Arbor that would be nice. I haven't been yet, but it seems to stand up from what I've read."
Of course, Ann Arbor meant that they would have to drive. That meant that she would have to be in the car with that charming smile both ways. It made her nervous, but not in a bad way. For the first time in years, she wasn't afraid to be alone with a man outside her family. Castel would never hurt her. That was one thing she knew. She trusted him. Others, he would hurt and just to make her smile, but he would never lay a hand on her. He would never do something she didn't want. "Do you have a car?" she asked, eyebrow inching up, wondering how he got there. He had a lot more explaining to do and she was more than willing to let him go first.
