"I very much doubt that," Daniel told Briony when she said that he would get annoyed. He had not had much exposure to demon child, not even when he was one, and so Briony was a strange sort of pleasure to have around. Even if she put chills down his own back. He had been around for long enough to know the cause, accept it and move on. His congregation was not so lucky and truly it was a delight to see all the different reactions that they had to her and the other demons that peppered their numbers. Sometimes he liked to play a game where he imagined what they would all do if they learned that their pastor was a demon and so were a few of the others they rubbed elbows and broke bread with. It'd be highly amusing. Hold on there, Briony had just made this girl she was speaking of even more interesting by declaring she had been that way for awhile. "Oh I see, so she's... a special little girl." Who was not little in age. Daniel had never heard of that. Most of the demons that he came across stopped aging when they were older, not as children, but he supposed that it was something that could happen. He definitely needed to meet this little shepherd. Now if only he could have asked more questions without them coming off as very weird thanks to the appearance of this new woman.
Daniel smiled at Drina and shook his head slightly. "Oh no, I don't mind at all. Everyone is always welcome here at Amazing Grace." One thing that he had always been reasonably good at was selling his church and himself. Call it a gift if you would, the gift that came along with being the demon that he was. He supposed that maybe he should thank genetics for seeing him born this way instead of some shepherd or advocate or even an incubus. No, Daniel would not want to be any of them. They all had their up sides, yes, but he was happiest being a Vice. Just look at all of the things that he could do! Like here when he was channeling his power and likely having an effect on this Drina that she did not even understand. Along with Briony, but she should be used to that by now just as he was used to hers. As used as one could be to a constant tingling of fear. But isn't it so amusing to see a Demon of Fear as a child, acting like a child? Yes, yes it was. She even had that little stammer that Daniel had noticed in other children. Was she not brilliant? Daniel could not express how much he enjoyed having her family there every service. He likely would have found himself bored after services or even during without her. The others were fun, yes, but they were grown up and that lost a certain charm. He chuckled and smoothed down Briony's hair, ignoring the shudder it sent racing up his arm. "Thank you, Briony. You are, of course, always welcome here, Drina. Even if you just need to talk about something I'll be glad to offer you a helpful and non-judgmental ear. I've been told that I'm very easy to talk with."
