But we don't have much room to live Who: Kiley and Mason Where: Hospital --> Mason's penthouse When: Late night, immediately after this
Kiley hated hospitals. Every time she stepped in one, all she thought of was waking up after the attack to Corwin holding her hand, being assaulted by all the sights and sounds and smells that were stronger than they'd ever been before, and finding out that her parents were gone. The change had started then, and she didn't know what was coming for her, that she was now a werewolf and the moon would bring out the worst in her. She'd only been here once since the attack, and that was to see Alanna after she'd been rescued. She'd been strong then, because her friend needed her to be, and she'd be strong now, too. Somehow.
The thought of Mason in the hospital had Kiley even more worried. Yes, he'd said he was all right - but Kiley also had the feeling he'd say that even if he had two broken legs and a massive head injury. She was going to take the fact that he wasn't being held overnight to be a good sign. Maybe he was here for work, but if he was, then why would he be without one of his many cars? She wouldn't know until she got there, and true to her word, she did head out as soon as she could. Kiley only paused to change out of her pajamas, throwing on the first pair of jeans and hoodie she could find. Her hair she left down, slightly messy, but she didn't care. Getting to Mason and reassuring herself that he was okay was more important.
The moment she walked into the hospital, the smell of the place hit her like a ton of bricks, and Kiley had to stop and pause. Don't freak out don't freak out it's okay don't freak out. She drew a couple breaths, through her mouth instead of her nose so her senses didn't completely get overwhelmed, and then grabbed her phone to text Mason. 'I'm here. Where are you?'
