She shrugged. Maybe it would help her sleep at night. Maybe it wouldn’t. The blonde wasn’t going to find out until she managed to crawl into bed. She wondered if she would be able to do that with Adam beside her. Worse came to worse, there would be a sweet pup who wanted to keep her company. She was grateful for her familiar, especially in the hard times. He kept her sane, reminded her that she was doing alright. He was also the one who spoke on behalf of Adam when they were away, reminding her that she cared for him.
He looked into her eyes and she smiled, shaking her head. “Not that I can remember.” Telyn held his gaze for a beat longer before shrugging. “Unless you spend a lot of time at Starbucks. I’m a caffeine addict like you wouldn’t believe. Can’t start the day without it or survive without the stuff.”
