She glanced over the man beside her and took in his appearance. He looked like hell, but then again she knew she wasn't a ray of sunshine at this point either. "I know that feeling. And just because it can be worse doesn't mean it doesn't suck now." No point in sugar-coating it to someone who had been exactly where she had. And he was injured. At least she didn't have to deal with her own injury to boot. That would be horrible.
"I did, yeah. Volunteer broke his arm. Left him in the seats so I could hand in his forms. He'll be fine." She nodded at his own injuries. Any officer would naturally be making sure that the civilian was taken care of first. "What about you? Anyone take a look at you yet?" Telyn knew basic first aid, something that had come in handy but still, there was a reason she wasn't an EMT or a doctor. It wasn't her area of expertise.
