Jackson wasn't in the habit of advertising what he was, not after the Light of May and what it had done to his family, and this would be no exception. If he was face to face with another supernatural who could sense what he was then there was no sense in denying his nature, but with those who had no way of detecting weres, he was content to play the part of a man, and nothing more. That was what he would do now, albeit with a little more of his supernatural strength thrown in. There was no harm in showing that though, some people were just naturally stronger, and it didn't mean anything. It certainly wasn't a dead giveaway, and that was all that mattered.
Accepting the tire iron, Jackson moved closer to the car, taking a good look at it before he crouched to see what he was dealing with. "I just got caught," he said, looking back at her with a smile. "I thought I'd walk into town, I didn't realise it was going to rain like this." It wasn't Jackson's first time facing such horrendous weather, he'd seen worse, but he felt soaked right through and he didn't know how long it was going to take to dry his boots out. He got to work on the tire; it wasn't effortless, but the bolts at least responded to his attempts. "How exactly did you forget your tire iron?" he heard himself ask as he worked, actually appreciating the chance to focus on a task that many supernaturals might see as so very mundane.
