Lauren's scent was occasionally a source of confusion to weres, but usually only when she was herself shifted - unless she dunked herself in a pond or rolled around in a ton of crap, she could look like a tiger but still smell mostly human. Weres could sometimes pick up on the scent of a skin if she was carrying it around with her, she didn't have anything on her at the moment. There was her small goldfinch skin in the glove compartment, but that was it. Likewise, Lauren didn't have any sort of sensory boost as a result of her skinwalking, so unless someone came out and told her, she was usually in the dark about who might be supernatural - unless she had one of her predator skins on. Then she could smell it. Assuming she could recognize the scent. The rain wasn't exactly helping her form an impression about the man who was offering help, but neither was it hindering.
She looked up and gave him a grateful smile when he offered to try his hand. She was strong for a human woman, but she could still be outdone by most human males and beyond. "Go for it, thanks," she said, stepping back and handing over the tire iron so he could give it a go. If anything, he had more muscle mass than she did and could probably get more leverage to boot, considering his larger size. "Sounds like you've got the same kind of car luck that I do. Is that why you're walking now or did you just get caught?" Because if it was the former, she could now totally return the favor and help him out.
