There were a lot of reasons that Satu wasn't like other kids. The first was that she'd been raised a little different and the second was that part she'd only learned about recently, because she was demonic. Where other kids would flinch away or get upset from being talked to like that, it just made Satu want to push a little harder. She wanted to get her answers and she wanted them specifically from this woman who made her feel more ill-at-ease than Bella had. Why? Mostly because she could, but also because she thought that maybe she made whoever this was uncomfortable too. And that was just too good to let go. "I know because even if Heaven's real then it'd be a place. And places are too big to have a generalized shape. Besides, it's probably not real." That was deliberately said to be annoying.
And she was used to that look. She got it from some people at school and definitely from her sister when she'd annoyed her. Whoever this woman was she needed to get some more interesting looks. "Hey, that's good, because I don't need some misty-eyed worker asking me where my mommy is or if my daddy touches me in the bad places." Satu shrugged; she'd seen it on T.V. "Which he doesn't because he's, you know, really dead. What are you then? Looks like you work here." Satu hoped she hadn't found an angelic-blooded paper-pusher.
'Are you having fun?' In a weird way... she still makes me feel uncomfortable. 'Then leave her alone.' I don't think so.
