Ah, finally. If that door had opened and a nurse or doctor was on the other side then Liliya was pretty sure that she would have thrown the cup of water they had brought her right at their head. And she had amazing aim. They deserved nothing less for bringing her a glass of water like she was the same as everyone else. Bringing a vampire water like it would soothe her throat was laughable. Liliya had given up the pretenses that went with being human since the Light of May and she was perfectly alright with that. Well, alright, she made exceptions when she was in the middle of meetings and it helped to put the others at ease, but that was definitely not her normal mode of operation. Should anyone care to check the colored glass that she kept on her desk or what was really in the mini-fridge in her office then they would probably feel ill at realizing that it was definitely blood. People took forever to realize that vampires really did live off of blood. Unfortunately it seemed that the medical community was slow on that uptake too, or else they just did not know how to handle it when they were sitting in one of their beds. I wonder if flashing my fangs at them would have made it any easier...
Hardly mattered now since Naoki was here. 'Finally. I'm beyond tired of this place and their idea of food.' Cold blood that had been kept in a plastic bag for god only knew how long was not food. Did they not realize that the taste of plastic was highly unpleasant? Because it was and Liliya wished that she had one of those little comment cards to fill out when she left so that she could give them a few pointers on how to treat their next vampiric guest. After saying that she would never, ever recommend this place to any of her friends. 'So long as she doesn't try jumping on my lap I'm sure that I'll be glad to see her as well.' Liliya was more fond of Snowball than she was of the witch she belonged to. Snowball was... a dog and, even if she liked to dig in the garden, she was tolerable. 'Grab the wheelchair and bring it over, I'm a little incapable of getting there myself and don't even call one of those nurses. I can't look at them without wanting to growl.' Liliya rubbed at her forehead and made a flicking motion. She really needed to get out of this hospital. Now. 'And see if you can find a hat. For some reason it was absolutely impossible for this hospital to part with some of its precious fae-blood and I don't want to get a sunburn.'
