"If you've always given off these same chills then you've been doing things since you came out of the womb." It was saying things like that that tipped people off that Bubbles wasn't your typical kid. Things like that were what she'd had to train herself out of saying unless she was talking to someone who knew or someone that she wanted to freak out to high heaven and back again. Briony wasn't getting freaked, of course, but Bubbles was okay with that. She wasn't near as okay with the fact that she was getting creeped out. "Because I don't want to go. Why would? I have a house of my very own. It's not even very far from here. I go there in-between families." Wasn't like she just wandered the streets as some vagabond ragamuffin. Bubbles flashed a grin that was far too wolfish for her face. "People don't like having animals around me. Wonder why." She was tempted to touch Briony's hands to see how cold they were, but decided against it after remembering that she'd been told that would make what she was already feeling worse. "En masse, that's the word you're looking for. I might have to drag my aunt to that church, see what it's like."
Whoa. White eyes. That just added to the creepy-crawling feeling that was getting more intense. Bubbles didn't like it. She was going to keep thinking about how much she didn't like it. "It's alright. I've never met a technokinetic, but I'd be happy to see what you can do." The pout didn't have much of an effect on her. She would've said so if another girl hadn't been so close. It was pretty funny to see how she interacted with her. No wonder the other kids didn't like her either. The prickles that they felt were probably completely unbearable. Bubbles was sure the only reason her skin hadn't crawled off yet was because she was a demon and fear wasn't exactly her enemy. Tended to be her friend most of the time. "Then if you don't grow up you'll get to keep on having just as much fun as I do. Take a stint in Hollywood and be a child actress. It's a lot of fun and if you don't have parents to 'look after' the money then you'll be able to set yourself up for life." She tilted her head a little to the side before smiling brightly and waving cheerfully at one of the ladies who watched the playground to make sure that the kids didn't kill each other. A legitimate concern when we're on it. "They're still paying me royalties on some of the ones I made. They don't know it's me, yeah, but who cares? Gotta keep the property taxes paid."
