"I can see why you would feel as though you did not have a place here." Rina did not mean to be offensive when she said that, but it was true that she could now that she knew what Antigone was. Just like she understood why it was that Elin refused to come. "The world needs more of your kind." What Antigone said about her time on earth, though, that gave Rina a reason to pause. She had not lived in those times although she had heard stories and read books that said these things had happened. It always made her heart go out to those poor women or men who had suffered for being accused of devil-worship just because they were magical. If I had lived in those times I would never have had time to rest. "You were here a very, very long time ago then. No one burned at stakes when I was still the age I look." Just in the ovens. "I've only seen one century pass and I think time passes more quickly in Celestia, where I spent most of it." It was far more peaceful there and she had not gained any scars during her time there.
Rina nodded. She did not ever wish to tell a lie, much less to another angel. Antigone might not know it for a lie, but Rina would and that was enough. "It may be easier for the Virtues to pray for the good of all mankind. The Guardians and the Patrons, though, we are more limited by our very nature." Rina could care about others and wish them well, but she focused so hard and put so much of herself into looking after her own that she did not feel as though she did much good for other people. She just did not have the time for them. Oh, she felt awful about it, especially now that she was seated next to an angel of Gentleness and Mercy, but she still knew that she would always do her best by her own people. Everything else, including herself, had to come second. "She is well now, but she was not then; the explosion caused her to be impaled on something. Had she been a mortal being then I think she would be dead." And I would not be here. Rina had never done well after one of her own had passed and she did even worse when one of her family did, to put the two together would be asking for her to just break completely. "Yes, her wings were pink, which I have never seen before." She did not know how to respond to the statement dealing with if's. Because Antigone was right and there were far too many of them. Far, far too many. If Rina had gone with Darklis to the march would she have helped them? But then, if she had been there then she would not have found Daisy and the woman may have died. Or perhaps Regina would have found her instead... possibilities were truly endless and Rina focused on the pain in her hand to tear her mind away from plotting them all out. "I would like to find the other angels, if only so that we can all be reminded that we are here."
'I am! Once I was even covered in frosting so I was literally very sweet. Until Darklis put me in the sink to wash it all off. She's a spoilsport.' Content that Rina was going to behave with her thoughts, Trouble moved the small distance and placed her front paws on Antigone's leg. 'You're enough. Especially if you pet me. I am VERY soft, you will like petting me.' Rina's smile was faint, but undeniably amused. "She keeps me in line, my little cat. I think that she was waiting for me when I came." 'I was!' "...you said you had brothers? Are they here?"
