"I'm sorry..." Lux murmured at what she thought had been Troy protesting. Given the way she felt about what she had done she didn't think he could possibly have enjoyed it. He grinned, telling her about how he wasn't worried if she left a mark, and Lux couldn't help but think of how sweet, innocent and undeserving of her bullshit Troy really was. She cupped his cheek with her hand, closing her eyes. "I don't want to hurt you, that's all."
When she had told him she would hurt him Lux hadn't really thought about this side of it, but now it added to the problem. She could lose control and accidentally bite him, and what then? He would become a monster like her and Troy just did not deserve that. If she was smart or capable of exercising any kind of control over herself, Lux would push him away, get dressed and leave; she really ought to end this thing before it even properly began. But Lux's only move was to wrap her arms around him and kiss his neck where she had bitten before. She hugged him tightly, her eyes closed, as her legs wrapped tighter around his. "I'm sorry," she whispered in his ear, kissing his earlobe softly.
