There was that smirk again, probably the very one that had gotten Troy in trouble before. He grinned back, lifting one of his eyebrows. "That sounds like a challenge." He reached over and barely tapped Lux's upper arm with his closed fist before he shook his hand out, wincing in mock pain. "I guess I better watch out for you, you might try to take me down." And then Lux was staring at him again and somehow, the equation added up to equal innuendo and Troy's cheeks burned a brighter red than they had been from his workout. Oh. I get it. Which led Troy to thinking more about how many times they'd actually had sex before he'd left, reluctantly. He'd be lying to himself if he pretended he didn't want that to happen again, and he was sure that the way Lux was looking at him had to be the same thing. Right? Troy was still unsure if this fell under the category of taking things "one day at a time" but he would be lying if he said that he wasn't hopeful about the whole thing.
"Hmm, cat got your tongue?" Troy chuckled a little, even if that was a pretty lame joke. Still, seeing Lux blushing at being caught looking at him was priceless. "What brings you to this part of town?" Not that Troy was complaining, he was simply curious. And really, Lux's apartment wasn't even far away at all. Watching Lux was interesting, especially since she happened to do all sorts of intriguing things. Fluttering her eyelashes at him was something Troy could probably get used to. It was disarming, and Troy found himself stepping closer. Wasn't being sweaty something that most women thought was gross? Well, Lux was not most women, and Troy was glad for it. Still, the space between them was something Troy didn't know how to cross. Were they dating? Were they just...sleeping together? He had no idea, and he was at a loss for what to do.
