Oh, what was this? Linnea blinked as she glanced between the young woman and her daughter, wondering how they might possibly know each other. Linnea knew all of the teachers and most of the teaching assistants in the Scarlet Oak school system as well as all of the coaches that Satu had in softball and this was not one of them. This was not someone that Linnea really recognized at all past the vaguest sense of 'I've seen her somewhere before' that tended to come with anyone who had been in Scarlet Oak for a length of time. Living there for roughly a decade tended to give one a basic working knowledge of at least faces, if not names, of the residents. Linnea was just about to request that Satu introduce her to this woman who apparently knew her and Dagmar, as well as the fact that Dagmar had reason to be unwell, when exactly that happened.
People who knew Linnea knew that she was not the most outwardly affectionate woman, no more than she was a chatterbox or likely to drink the coffee at a social gathering no matter who had made it. It could be considered rude to invade someone's space and since she did not like having it done to her she preferred to not press herself on others. There were, however, rare exceptions to this rule and one of them just so happened to be stood in front of her in the form of this lovely young woman known as Bella. She could have actually been hideous or deformed and it would not have mattered; because she had helped Dagmar when she was hurt. True, she had not healed her and neither of the girls had spoken particularly glowingly of her, but she had helped when it was not necessary and - oh the baby was doing things to her emotions and they could already be unpredictable as it was. Linnea slipped her hand free of Satu's so that she could move forward and embrace the redhead, tears standing in her eyes.
"Thank you, Bella," she said, sincerity obvious in her voice as the brief hug ended and she stepped back, freezing the teardrops so that she could flick them away easier. Her smile was warm and even genuine. Unlike her daughters she felt no repulsion towards this young woman. "I am sorry for that, but you helped my daughter and I am very grateful for that." The water elemental had completely forgotten her original purpose in coming here.
