Sometimes, in certain situations, Brian didn't even notice what he had heard was a thought and not the person actually speaking. This had happened now and he wasn't even aware he had responded to a thought, because his mind was simply occupied with other things such as the redhead's hot body and the fact that they had almost dropped to death and the elevator was now sort of hanging in the balance with them inside it. He was also completely unguarded when she assaulted his mind with the most disgusting thing he had ever seen coming from someone else; or at least it seemed that way. "What the FUCK?!" He yelped, his face contorting into a look of disgust. And then, he fell back on his ass, seeing as he'd changed from kneeling to crouching in the meantime. No, he hadn't really been ready for that. Who ever was?
"Yeah I'm...I'm cool." Disturbed, but alright, he supposed. "So, like, what's the procedure now? I've never been stuck in an elevator before." But he really couldn't have asked for better company. Or at least he'd have thought that before the random disgusting imagery she had shoved into his head.
