The little salute Simon gave her made Lux smile, and she nodded. Hopefully she had gotten through to him as clearly as it seemed, because she really did not want him to end up at the hospital for a joint and some beers. "Damn right." She took a sip of her beer.
"Yeah, well, and that is why she's an idiot. How anyone could have a problem with you is beyond me, and if her stressing out isn't helpful to Tabby then she's not that good to her, is she?" When you got Lux started on Simon's ex-wife she always got a little bit of righteous anger going on. "I bet she'd be better off over here right now."
Lux knitted her brow. "How do you tell someone's happy via text, though? Honestly son you have some talents I can't even fathom." She joked, shaking her head. And then Simon hit the nail on the head. Sighing, Lux shrugged. "That's the thing though, I'm really not sure what the fuck. Plus I'm a fucking mess and he's too damn sweet for his own good; how can this not go wrong eventually?" Troy could assure her it wouldn't all he wanted, Lux still had her doubts. "Ooooh one for each? You're in a very giving mood today friend, not wanting us to share. Go ahead, go ahead." She said, leaning back with a grin.
