Lux gave a little giggle when Simon lifted her. "I know you didn't, dumbass." She looked up at his head. "Bandage? Alright you better not be on concussion watch because if so I'm sorry but you're not having mind-altering substances put into your body on my watch." She could be responsible too! Especially when her best friend's health was in check.
She did accept the beer, though, with a shrug. "Thanks. Poor baby." Lux really felt bad for Simon's little girl. "Yeah, I'm glad she wasn't there too but that's got to be hard." Lux shrugged, rolling her eyes. "Well, fuck, I'm angry too but if I had a kid who needed anything but my emotions adding to the problem I'd try to control myself." She had never been a fan of Jolene, not since she and Simon had gotten separated. Lux didn't like to throw the word 'bitch' around freely, but in Jolene's case it just fit.
Taking a sip off her beer, Lux leaned back on the couch and took a deep breath. "So..." It was probably better to tell him about it now so she could get the awkwardness of having to tell out of the way. "So Troy came over yesterday to hang out while we didn't hear from you." Lux looked off at a fixed point in the wall. How did you tell your best friend that you had fucked your other best friend and that you might or might not be in a relationship but you weren't sure because nothing about yesterday had been certain?
