Circe nodded even though Antonin couldn't see her. "I'll be sure to keep a lookout for her. I'm sure her little situation could be upsetting considering the circumstances." She hadn't ever really been around anyone pregnant (usually it was just after the fact) but she was a medical student. She knew and understood somewhat the wretched havoc a parasite as big as a bowling ball could wreak on a woman's body, including her hormones and, thusly, her moods. Madeleine was already a fire elemental to begin with. Circe was certain more instability was not welcome. Add a little bombing...well, she wasn't afraid of Madeleine per se but she wouldn't want to be caught in the cross-fire either. She stopped when Antonin told her where he was and looked around.
"I think I see you," she responded into the phone as she walked towards him. Circe quickly found out she was right. There was no mistaking his scent, even though a lot of the world smelled like death right now. Antonin was very particular. She walked up to the car he'd been standing on. "Good day, Officer Miller," she said with a smirk. "I've got needles and thread. Let's go sew some open wounds close." See? She had a sense of humor.
