So Dagmar noticed it too. Huh, that was weird. 'It's not just in your head. Which is weird because I think that a lot of things are just there and nowhere else.' Satu was ignoring that in favor of tilting her head at the name 'Bella'. Wasn't that the name of the sallow-skinned chick in those far-too-popular vampire movies that probably had every vampire wanting to drain the author's blood? Yeah, yeah that was it. Too bad she was too old to have been named for her or Satu would've had a world of fun with that. 'Shouldn't you be worried about your sister instead of trying to figure out how best to mock this woman?' Probably, but Satu had her priorities. 'Your mother will be disappointed.' Satu made an irritated noise in the back of her throat and dropped to her knees next to her sister, hand going out to find her purse so that she could dig out her phone again. What was so wrong with using her own she didn't know, she was just doing as she was told for a change. And wondering why the hell this Bella girl was making her skin and stomach feel all funny. Like she was that different that she couldn't be too close or something.
"Mom's going to be pissed that you got hurt in the first place," Satu said, brushing a piece of hair back after she'd fired off the text to Leif. She decided to keep the phone in hand just in case either of them texted her back, or if anyone else did. Phone in hand she moved closer to her sister, frowning when she reached up to touch the skin around the gash. "That's nasty, but that..." She motioned at the exposed skin of her sister's abdomen, feeling her own roll a little. "Internal damage?" Her eyes flickered over to Bella, and although her mouth automatically fought to turn up in a sneer she resisted the urge. Just barely. "I mean, if you can help her then that'd be cool. But if you hurt her worse then I'm going to find something shaped like a bat to take you down. Don't care that you're bigger than me, it'll happen." Satu grinned all bright and chipper like she was the ball of sunshine she thought her mother sometimes wished she was. "So, what're you gonna do, Bella?"
