Jo was thanking God for the heightened senses she had, otherwise she might not have been able to hear Lotti calling her name the first time. Luckily, she did. "Lotti, I'm here! Move?" Good question. Jo tried, and her back protested very firmly. "Uhhhh not really!" She probably could, if she tried hard enough, but Jo didn't want to try hard enough right now. Because trying hard enough would hurt like an army of bitches. "Can you? Are you mostly okay?"
Lotti's whimper made Jo whimper herself. "No no no. That is not good. Don't be hurt, please! I threw my back out! Can't move!" And someone had just stepped on her hand. "Ow! Fuck!" Jo shook her hand as if that got rid of the pain faster, and tried to pull whatever was underneath her away so she could at least lie on the ground properly. When she felt at it, Jo found it wasn't concrete, or rubble. It was a person. "Oh my God. LOTTI COME HERE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU CAN I AM LYING ON SOMEONE AND I CAN'T GET UP." Jo kept making faces as people screamed and ran around her, and the fire burned and people burned in it - almost certainly. "If you can't...well...I guess I'll try crawling backwards. Or something." Really she just wanted to be knocked out, her back was killing her.
