Viv actually giggled when the non-human stuck her tongue out like a five-year old. She felt like she hadn't smiled all day. It reminded her of her half-siblings. Though she'd never gotten along with them, they were the only siblings she'd ever had. It was a memory of a life gone long ago and she couldn't let herself think about it. She was already thinking too much and what she'd been thinking since she left the house wasn't good either. It was times like this she wished she could get drunk. That definitely would have helped with the thinking thing. "I know it's not going to do a damn thing for me but that doesn't change the fact that I want some." Just another thing to add to her frustration.
Now the non-human girl was moving towards the light, leaving her confused for a moment. That was until she realized that she was drawing. What was... wait, she was a mermaid? Viv had never met one before. 'I wonder what she would taste like?' The thought briefly flitted through her mind. Not that she had any intention of tasting the mermaid whom she'd just met. That was rude and she had promised not to nibble. Didn't help that she was a cutie.
"Oh, that's not poison. That's deliciousness." Scotch was something shed had once or twice but vodka was the drink she hated. It was her step-father's drink of choice after beer of course. Though, the mermaid was right. It would make you sick if you had too much.
