To be completely honest, Maddie was a little nervous. She'd barely been to any actual bars (having never had the guts to get a fake ID) and now she was in one where they were serving blood...and where she was a walking cocktail. She wasn't exactly aware that certain kinds of vampires enjoyed drinking from intoxicated donors so...well, that's why she'd brought Bonnie with her. For contingencies such as those that included potentially harmful consequences. Seeing as Bonnie's fake seemed to have worked just fine, Maddie led the way to the bar. It was definitely a sight to see and while she didn't have any special abilities that made her able to distinguish vampire from human, she figured out it was often easy to tell. Pale skin and fangs were just two of the many giveaways. It was like a fantasy that just sprung to life. How did one go about getting into conversation with one of them?
Once she got up to the bar, she tilted her head slightly as the taller gentleman next to her ordered his drink. O-...psychic? Seriously? She assumed they had their own preferences as far as drink went like normal humans did but to order by blood type and race? Did it really make a difference or was it just the differenece between top shelf and bottom shelf? She suddenly realized she was way out of her depth in the situation. "A classic mojito," she responded automatically when the bartender looked at her. "And..." she paused as she turned to look for Bonnie. She wasn't entirely sure what the other girl drank. She could see Bonnie as both an appletini and a fifth-of-whiskey sort of girl.
