"Is it that obvious?" Bonnie asked, briefly looking down at herself. Then she grinned. Good. She waved off Maddie's worries of being under-dressed though. "Oh please, you are so not. You look great. Besides... I'm always surrounded by guys. Sometimes I just need an excuse to dress up and justify the amount of money I blow on clothes." And she wasn't just buying clothes for herself anymore, either. Her familiar was building up a pretty damn extensive wardrobe herself. Bonnie, of course, was happy to oblige. Endellion liked all things girly and feminine, and above all, liked to encourage Bonnie to be the same. Bonnie had the opposite problem with her familiar that Maddie did: Endy was always encouraging Bonnie to go out. Of course, to Endy 'going out' entailed spending a day at the salon first and trying on a dozen different outfits. The little fox said that she spent too much of her time acting like one of the guys. She did not want her human to dress like one.
"Fine by me," Bonnie agreed easily. "It's a great night for it." At the moment, Bonnie was driving an early 90s red mustang convertible - it was even legal! In Detroit, Bonnie could get away with stealing cars to suit her whims, and ditching them before anyone caught on. This was not the case in Scarlet Oak. She grabbed her keys and headed outside. "I figure I only got a few more weeks to drive with the top down. What a bummer."
