Cole did not have even the slightest idea that he had gone and sat himself down at a table with someone who was going to consider that blood coming from his lip as a dinner bell. Had he known then he would have likely been way more fascinated with the idea that he was meeting yet another were rather than freaked that he was inspiring someone to eat like he was a machine. Because that guy was shoveling his food down like it was going to sprout legs and try running away from him or something. Cole did not even eat that fast when he was halfway to starved after a skateboarding competition. Or when he had spent most of his day getting himself beat up or chased around the halls because he was tired of getting beat up and just wanted to chill in a corner of the library or something. Next time I really am going to whip anything that's not bolted to the floor at them. See if they like getting their faces broken. He enjoyed the thought of Derrick with a smashed in face, spitting up his teeth far too much.

Unless he was really going to be that sort of guy since non-jocks could be real jerks too. What the hell - goddamnit, mind, stop that. We're going to fight back this year and show them how dangerous it is to mess with a telekinetic. Kick their asses. Get Niamh to freeze their backs to a wall. Could his sister do that? "This?" Cole touched his lip again, not wincing this time, and shrugged before flipping his wrist so that his palm was pointing up. "Jock. Football-type jock who accused me of staring at him. Like I'd ever. Way better things to focus my eyes on." Locke... who has a girlfriend... hmmm... Rico's kind of pretty. And looks like he could tie me into knots. "It's sort of a common thing for me to be bleeding or bruised or in the nurse's office. Or it used to be." There was a fork spinning up in the air that he had levitated off of the next table over. He wondered if his control was good enough to stop that just before it took someone's eye out or if he would go a step too far and end up in way major trouble. "Soooooo where'd you move here from, Rico?
