Tonight wasn't the time to linger on things that couldn't be changed. He had Regina now and that was enough for him, it really was. There was no way they could make up for lost time. "You have always made baking miracles for me," he joked with her. "Honestly, something out of nothing is still pretty impressive. And you remembered my obsession with red velvet." Because Regina made the best, and she'd been the one to introduce him to it, all those years ago. It would always hold a special place in his heart.
"Well, all the baking stuff is in this cabinet," he said, leading her over to it with one hand on the small of her back. "I'll dig out where the muffin tins are." He'd stashed them away in the very back of his cabinets, but hadn't gotten rid of them.
