She smiled when she felt his hand at her back, because that was kind of nice. And gentlemanly. Verity stepped outside and noticed the sun was starting to set. They had been talking for a long time, it seemed. She looked up at him with another smile and nodded. "You're welcome... I had fun too. And I like talking about you, so it was perfect." She pulled her keys from her bag and hesitated, despite her car being right there. "So... I'll talk to you soon?"
"Very soon if that's alright with you?" He asked, figuring that he was right to guess that she wouldn't mind him calling her. Look at how well this night had gone. "Have a good night." He told her giving her a quick hug and a kiss on the forehead which was about 10 times more bold of him than he was prepared to be doing at the moment.
"Definitely alright with me," Verity said. She blinked a bit in surprise when he hugged her and she felt his lips on her forehead. Was a forehead kiss a good thing? Was it stupid to expect more? But then again this hadn't even really been a real official date, so maybe so. It had been way too long since she had done anything remotely close to a date, so she didn't really know. Pulling back, she gave him a smile. "Thanks, I will. You have a goodnight too. Bye, Artus." She lifted her hand in a small wave before turning to head off to her car to start the drive home.
