Freddie scratched her face distractedly. Of course. Brain freeze moment, apparently. "Yeah I guess that's what we'll end up doing. I'm just such a pusher for her and Psalm to get their shit together I keep thinking she'll eventually do it and go sleep with him instead!" Was it bad that she was telling him this? Well, he was her boyfriend, stuff about friends would eventually slip out. She did, however, snicker after speaking and looked away. But they could always take little naps together if none of them were doing anything during the day, perhaps.
He laughed at the Psalm and Myra thing. "I think a lot of people are attempting to push them together. I think that would be incredibly good for them if they finally became an item. So we can hope that they'll end up sleeping in the same tent," he said with a small smile as he kissed her temple. "Maybe you should keep your tent to yourself and if Myra is forced to have her own tent... maybe something will happen." And then we can snuggle at some point. This sounded like the perfect idea to him!
"I know, it's like watching a TV show where you care too much about the characters and want them to get together desperately. There should be fan videos of Psalm and Myra and this point." She joked. "Hmm...I don't know if I want to sleep alone all that time." Which means, in case the pleading girlfriend thing doesn't work because I'm not smooth enough, you should come sleep with me. But of course you won't, a girl can dream! she thought immediately after speaking. Well, it wasn't like she was playing the part of pouty girlfriend if she wasn't actually telling him that, was it?
"I figure they'll end up together eventually. Fan videos. Freddie." He laughed even harder at the fan videos thing. It killed him. His eyebrow arched at her words and her thoughts about sleeping alone. "Well, if you're not opposed to it, I think I can sneak away from the tent I share with Blake. If that's not too forward of me to suggest." He kissed her shoulder, his lips lingering for a second. It felt like he was taking advantage of his powers so that he could get close to Freddie and while he would never ever hurt her, it still left him with a guilty conscience.
"Hopefully. That's an epic love story right there." Freddie said with a shrug, and then laughed along with him. It was lovely to have the ability to make Rhys laugh, even if he almost always did it already.
Whoa, that was weird. It was like he had kind of read her mind in a way. "Of course I'm not opposed to it. And it's not too forward, I'm the forward one in this relationship, I think." Given what she kept thinking she'd like to do with him and to him. Damn be the hormones. "See, I'm going to be forward right now and ask you if you would be opposed to start camping today. Here. With me." Even if it was an unspoken understanding, Freddie still had to ask.
He smiled at her and leaned forward to capture her lips before he answered her question. "Sounds good to me. I want to stay here with you." He brushed his nose against hers as he smiled at her. The tiniest things made him happy when it came to Freddie. "We can sleep under the stars," he said. It was a very romantic idea. Of course the wannabe astronaut would love to sleep under the stars with his girlfriend his arms.
