We're only happy when it rains
Who: Aetheria and Aurora
Where: Elias home
When: Morning
Aurora had been having the most wonderful dream. She was wearing her softest robes and sitting on the stone courtyard back in Greece, listening eagerly as her mother spoke about the gods of wind. Everyone else had been there and while she could not see them she could hear and feel them, and Aetheria had been there to whisper that they were. Because that was when Aetheria could talk, Cheila and Caelia were not afraid of touching and father did not need special care because something bad had happened to his mind. Aurora missed those times and enjoyed when she dreamed of them. Sometimes right after she woke she knew that was as close as any of them would get to it again. Other times, like now, she was just happy to have had it and stayed curled up tight against her twin for awhile after waking before even moving enough to stretch out her muscles.
When she did move she felt her mood perk immediately and she practically flew out of the bed. She then proceeded to stumble over a pair of shoes and probably bruise her knee on the edge of a chair that she had not remembered being there, but that did not slow her from reaching the window. Fumbling with the latches for a moment, the air elemental finally got them undone and pushed the window open to take a deep breath in. With it she smelled the storm, the rain and did not even bother to wipe away the drop that fell on her skin. Instead, leaving the window open because why on earth would she close a storm out?, Aurora promptly turned and all-but ran back to jump on the bed. How she managed to not land directly on her sister was anyone's guess but she was hardly paying attention to that. What mattered to her was waking Aetheria up because it was raining hard and she could already tell that their bond had kicked up. She had had good dreams and the slightly fuzzy feeling she was getting from her twin told her that she had as well. Good, she liked that.
"Aetheria!" Aurora chirped, feeling the smile stretch across her face. It was raining and they were in the same house as their family. Could the day really get any better than that? "Wake up, Ae, it's raining!" Whether or not these attempts were working did not matter because she had traced her fingers up along her sister's face until she found her eyelids, tapping very lightly on them. "I haven't seen anything in forever, I want to know what our bed looks like."
