"I prefer to hear them scream, and you have to pay extra for the tights," Tanith shot back without missing a single beat, and found herself smirking. Not that he was anything but annoying. Of course. He was terrible and she really should have drowned him in that lake when she had the bloody chance. Eztli huffed again, and this time it felt to Tanith that he was amused. She hated that she could feel anything from the damn cat. She pushed the blankets back enough to flip Eztli the bird. She'd taught him what that meant very early on. Eztli didn't seem terribly put out, instead hopping up on the bed to bat at her hand playfully. Fucking cat.
"I'm surprised you know what a diner is," she said into the phone, retreating back under the covers again. She sighed. "Sunny's Diner, six on Tuesday, no leather, latex, or rubber. On my person, anyway. Have I got it covered?"
