Quinn's eyes widened whenever Alanna began to snap at her. The reaction surprised her a bit, but it was nothing she wasn't accustomed to. Her persistence often had a habit of pushing people's buttons and their reactions were much the same as Alanna's. However, most of Quinn's surprise came at the words that spilled out of the redhead's mouth. Clairsentient. Quinn logged the word away to investigate more later. That was a type of psychic, wasn't it? Would that really give one the strength to keep standing after such a hard bump? Quinn did not know much about the types of magics or talents that existed in the world, but she wasn't about to say anything was impossible. Especially not since the Light of May.
Some part of Quinn wanted to learn more, but after Alanna's miniature tirade, she knew it wasn't wise. Fortunate that she knew that much. "No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pressed on. It's none of my business; it's just the doctor side of me. I tend to worry about people, even the ones I just meet." That wasn't a lie, but everything Quinn said came out in a matter-of-fact tone. She paused, a question burning in her mind. She tried to ignore it, she really did, but that was just impossible.
"Are you a clairsentient, then?" She didn't intend any malice -- it really was just her curiosity that was too great to resist.
