Lacy had felt... something. She'd been sitting at home as she had been for the past couple nights, half to placate Kalous and half because, even if she wouldn't admit it, she was still a little nervous about leaving. It had been peaceful until she started to feel Kalous' emotions rippling back to her through their bond... Luckily, none of those emotions made her feel he was in too much danger. Still, the anger and confusion worried her.
Without actually lending too much thought to it, she ran out through the front door and leaped onto the roof of the building, quickly assessing which direction she needed to be and taking off, using lightfoot to leap from building to tree along the way. It really didn't take too long, and she arrived in the alley in time to hear... Her father was talking to a human. That made her a little more cautious, sticking to the shadows for a moment and very briefly eavesdropping. The redhead seemed like a decent man... and that made her confused. It was obvious Kalous had bitten him, she could smell blood on the air, but it just didn't seem right.
Slowly she stepped out of the shadows at the back of the alley, looking at both of them, the redhead uncertainly and Kalous questioningly. "Papa...? What's going on?"
