Find you & we're beautiful Who: Aetheria and Aurora Where: Elias house When: Mid-afternoon
Having spent the night in the family home with Aetheria there was decidedly different than the time that she had without her. She did not need to worry about whether or not she was okay, if she would be mad at her or any of that. Now Aetheria was there so there was nothing to worry about. Nor were there appointments to keep which meant no seeing to her neck or other bruises and she could just... relax. For the second day in a row. Two days of none of that going through her head and Aurora did not even know what to do with herself. Possibly be far too happy. But she was far from uncomfortable with the presence of all of their family. Cheila was right there, as was Dashiell, and then their parents were only a ways down the hall. They were all safe from everything. Except for maybe Barnabas if a lightning storm came by, then he would not be safe at all. They would need to pile on top of him and hope that their bodies could protect him. But other than that they were all safe and good and nothing would happen to them.
Nothing.
Sighing happily, Aurora nibbled at the pita bread sandwich that Dashiell had helped her make, feet swinging as she sat on top of the stool, stroking Neveah's feathers idly with her other hand while she waited for... something. She was not sure what she was waiting for. Maybe the rain or wind would pick up so that her mind would not be so empty. She always felt so empty, so quiet, after a thunderstorm when her thoughts and feelings were separated from Aetheria's. At times she wondered why they had to be separate at all. It was not quite fair, doubly so now that Aetheria was unable to speak. If they had been linked all of the time then neither of them would be half of something. 'But you'd find it to be a strange world if you could always see it.' "True," Aurora conceded after swallowing a bite. 'Besides, if you really want to know what something looks like then you can ask...' That was another good point. This was why Aurora was glad that she had gotten Neveah for her familiar. The owl was so good for things like this.
