Had Valya decided to tell Eloisa of the towns that she had destroyed in hopes of her finding the trail and following then she'd have been flattered. And proceeded to tell her of all the ones that she'd killed because she hadn't found her. Every time she thought she was near only to have her hope ripped away she hadn't been able to do anything but react with fury, lashing out at whoever was nearest. Once that had been the vampire that she'd turned... what was her name? Unimportant. She was dead and lying somewhere in the south and she was here with her Valya, the one she'd wanted. Always. Destroying things was fulfilling but it'd always had a little something extra to it when she'd known that Valya was there to smile at her and reveal in it, to speed it along by upsetting the humans with their rotten food or vampires with their tainted blood. They fit together and the vampires who'd driven them apart hadn't understood that. Or they had. Once again I don't care. But it was hard to keep her mind centered when she was feeling this happy.
She loved the way that her petname sounded when Valya used it. The black-eyed vampire was the only one who'd ever called her that, and the only one who she wanted to call her that. Anyone else who tried would find themselves missing a tongue. "There is nothing I wouldn't forgive you for," Eloisa answered truthfully. If she found out tomorrow that Valya had another woman then she'd wring the woman's head off, have something resembling a temper in Valya's direction, sulk... and forgive her a few days later because it was Valya and she couldn't not. She simply loved her too much and was too happy to be back with her again, knowing that she'd been missed and was still loved as well. It would've warmed her heart if it wasn't chilled and dead in her chest. "Si in other words." Shifting she slid her arm underneath of Valya and tugged the other vampire closer, nuzzling against the side of her face. "If you wish to sleep again then I won't keep you awake; but may I stay?" It was a wonderful feeling to be this near to Valya again and she didn't want to separate from her.
