Oh... right. "Yeah, I guess that makes it a bit hard, especially if you don't want to come off as super-stalkerish." Wow, this is A+ material to be talking about in a cafe during the afternoon. At least they weren't having this conversation over texts and thus eliminating the fear of having it published on textsfromlastnight.com. Savvy was just happy she was on the bitten-were-wagon. No thanks, she was happy with what she was.
Savvy had herself set up for rejection, playing various scenes of Dominic telling her to fuck off and die in a fire, not caring if everyone in the cafe saw or heard. To her delight, none of that happened - he actually accepted. And Savvy couldn't contain her excitement over that. "Awesome!" She even did a little bounce as she squeed. "I mean, not the driving around all night and blah blah blah.... you know what I mean!" With a happy smile on her face, she motioned for Dominic to follow her over to the seat she had claimed and quickly saved all her files so she could close her laptop and make some room for him. "Sorry, don't mind all this. You know me and my art work." She let out a nervous laugh while sitting down, so happy to actually have a bonding moment. "So you actually drove? Someone needs to give you a medal. I was a wuss and had to fly out here and have everything shipped out here." More like she didn't have her license, but she liked her version better.
