Of course Savvy was going to get up and come over to him. She was psychic and chances were she'd probably heard him walk in around the same time he'd smelled her. Dominic knew better than to think he could just get a coffee and be on his way; Savvy had always been more interested in the idea of being a "real" family than he was. In his mind, he already had a sister, and that was his twin, Camilla. Who he needed to text to let her know where he was, because if anyone was going to worry about him, it would be her.
"Long story," he said, tucking his sunglasses into his pocket and pulling out his phone to text his sister. Here safe. Will call once I get to a hotel. "Didn't think you'd be here either." Hadn't Camilla said Savvy had left New York? Probably. He hadn't been paying attention. Dominic also doubted she wanted to hear the entire story about how he was doing - seeing that he was a werewolf without his mate who was having more than a hard time adjusting to that very fact. "I'd like to say I'm passing through, but I don't know that for sure yet." All depended on Keira's reaction, really.
It was his turn next and without waiting for Savvy to say anything, Dominic went up to the counter. "I'll have a latte, two extra shots, in a small size cup." He glanced over at the pastry case, made a face, then added, "That's all."
