Yes? Here Marius had been expecting a 'can I help you?' or something like 'hello' and instead he got a 'yes?'. The concern that whoever he found on the other side of the door would turn out to be useless was tucked back away into the corner of his mind as it seemed quite impossible after that. And this was the one he'd sensed in passing so many times, he didn't need to ask. The demon practically rolled off the boy. Man. Whatever he wanted to call himseld he hardly had enough years on him to qualify as anything other than a boy in Marius' eyes. Briefly the incubus wondered if that was how it was with all demon and whatever they managed to produce.
'He's rude.' Yes, well, he was demonic. Marius hardly expected the best of manners from one of his own.
"Did your mother neglect to teach you manners, boy?" Marius asked with an easy grin. He wasn't annoyed or bothered by the greeting, but let him think that maybe he was. Unless, of course, he was some sort of an empath. "Usually you open the door and say hello or some variation thereof. There, now you've had your first lesson. Hello, my name is Marius and you should invite me inside now. That's the next step in this little dance."
