Yeah okay, Alanna knew better than to tell doctors or nurses that they were wrong. She knew that she hated it when patients did the same to her when she was working at the office and she was only an assistant. "Maybe, but I'm not going to be the one to say it." Only think Alanna had intentions of standing up about happened to be in regards to her food and anyone that smelled like a reptile, especially a snake. If any of them set foot inside of her room then she was going to shift whether she wanted to or not.
Ten days. "Felt like longer than that," Alanna remarked as she chewed slowly, feeling a chill going down her spine. A week and a half Zach had had her. No wonder she was a mess. "Can I say sorry enough times for that? But I was worried too. Wasn't my idea and I'd be glad if it hadn't ever happened." Her next bite was a little hard and her teeth went right through the cashew, sinking into her lip and she winced at the taste of blood. Again. She was really too used to that taste for someone who didn't like it. "I mean, if I'd wanted to go I doubt I'd be in the hospital right now feeling like someone beat me to death, brought me back then tried again and only got 75% of the way there before I got myself here. Just don't get why no one came looking for me." Weres. Half of her friends were this or that were with excellent senses of smell and she knew how strong the scent of fear was and yet she'd needed to have Zach let her go. What if he hadn't? I'd still be there. Or dead. It made her mouth taste all funny to think of that.
