Things got messed up
Who: Linnea and Satu
Where: Niemi home
When: Morning
The previous night had been something like a disaster. All Satu, all any of them, had wanted to do was shower and go to bed. It'd been an amazingly long day and yet they'd come home to a mess. An absolute mess. And to top it off the security system had been disabled. Satu didn't know what had happened and all she'd cared about was helping clean the mess up. She hadn't wanted to help but the mess had been in her mom's room. While Satu thought that the shock might be good for her - wasn't that sort of thing bad for the baby? - she hadn't wanted to have her mom come home to that anymore than the others had so she'd done her part. The only time that a member of the Niemi family, water elemental or not, would likely engage in burning was when it was something like that. Unfortunately the mattress had needed to go and someone was going to have to tell Linnea that she needed a new one. Satu didn't want to do it. She was the youngest and it so wasn't her responsibility. Let Dagmar or Kajsa or even Valterri tell her.
'What if you see her first?' Even Blastoise sounded sleepy as Satu, still in her PJs, shuffled out of her room and plopped down at the kitchen table with a bowl of cereal. That she'd forgotten the milk for. With a groan she picked herself back up and went to the fridge to get the milk and bring it back. And on the way she caught sight of the time. Why was she awake? Oh sure she could blame it on her screwed up internal clock thanks to having gotten used to time over in Finland but even then it needed to remember the fact that hey, she couldn't have slept for more than seven hours and she'd been exhausted. Still was for that matter.
And why exactly wasn't her mother home yet? 'Maybe she's sleeping in?' That wasn't a thought that Satu wanted since she happened to know where it was that her mother had gone. Least she couldn't get pregnant again. A bit of milk splashed up over the corners of the bowl as she took another spoonful. "Yeah well, she didn't have to go through all that stress last night so she needs to come home." Everything would be better when Linnea was there. Not that Satu was worried or anything, nothing had been missing, but it wasn't ever cool to come back from vacation and find that your home had been broken into and messed with. Everything was better now that the air was on and the fountains were going though. That'd just been a particularly cruel thing to do.
