Just walking on one fine wire Who: Missy and Naoki Where: Shizuka When: Afternoon
Meeting Amanda Blake had been interesting to say the least. Missy had not been sure exactly what she was expecting but it had not been what she had gotten. There was probably a difference between when you just came across her in a coffee shop and when she was being interviewed though. Or when she was having a camera shoved in her face because Jon was just rude like that. Good thing she had not caught onto the part where he was a witch or he might have found his camera shoved somewhere. I wonder if she's even got any muscle in that form. Really, she was only thinking about her chance encounter with Amanda because she had gone to the same coffee shop to pick up her typical afternoon drink after getting done with her shift at work. There were a few spare hours between now and when she needed to get Kristen from her art lessons and she was trying to think about what to do with them. There was the ever-present option of seeing if any stray vampires had decided to go retro and crouch down in an abandoned building but what really sounded good to her sore muscles was a massage. And there was only one place in town that she deemed as good enough for the prices that they charged - Shizuka.
Tugging her hair up and using her baseball cap as an impromptu ponytail holder - it was far too warm to wear her hair loose like she had for her report - Missy hopped out of her car and locked it up as she headed in. Hopefully Naoki would be in. The white witch was a good sort of guy even if he was married to a cold-hearted bloodsucker who Missy would have been happier to see dead and it was nice when she got to come in and get a massage while catching up with him. Sure, there were those times when she came in and he helped heal her up after a stray bullet caught her or she got her ass overly kicked by a particularly feisty vampire, but it was far better when she was in good health. Then there was no worrying about how she had done it, if she was okay, etc. etc. etc. "G'day," she remarked to the woman behind the counter as she stepped up, flicking her sunglasses up over the brim of her hat. "Is Naoki in today, do you know? Oh, and no, I don't have an appointment, I'm just stopping by." Missy was pretty sure that she had only had a few appointments actually scheduled before, these days she was more prone to just drop in when the urge hit her.
