She made a mental note to drag Quentin to more parties and gatherings in the future. Calista never wanted to be that girlfriend that came off as clingy and needed their boy by their side 24/7. It was reassuring to hear that she was doing ok in that department. Even with the sort of opposite schedules they had going on, they would figure it all out.
As for his response to her question, Calista was hoping for something more... in depth. Just shrugging and saying he just did wasn't going to be helping out Calista figuring that out herself. At least she understood the creativity kick. "I have a feeling I'll be spending the next couple of nights up late." She couldn't remember if she told Quentin about her commission job with Whisper or not. Not just the sketches thing, but the having to make who knew how many outfits by next week. Sleep wasn't going to exist in Calista's world for a while. "But uh," she made a face while munching on her eggs. "where do you get a red bull? Aren't they suppose to be mean?" Or maybe you ran around in circles while it chased you and that kept you awake. That didn't make sense; Calista would have been exhausted after a minute of that!
