This wasn't exactly the way that things were supposed to be going. Bubbles was supposed to get to play with the puppy, drive it a little crazy and see what it was able to do to the girl before the neighbors saw and called animal control. It wasn't like Kristen would die or anything - puppies weren't that good - she'd just get all traumatized and stuff. Maybe permanently scarred. Ooooh, permanent damage was one of Bubbles second favorite things to inflict. Tied with mental trauma but wasn't quite as good as death. "Golden retrievers are always so fluffy. I like their fur." People were always shocked with that kind of dog turned on its 'master' as well. They weren't known for that. Messing up statistics was just way too much fun.
"Aw well, it's not like we're doing anything." Bubbles wasn't ready to leave. She knew that was probably what Kristen wanted but she didn't actually care what the little girl wanted. What she wanted was what was important here. "Besides, you're the first kid my age I saw who wasn't playing with a bunch of other people and it's always hard to get into a group. Can I just stay for a liiiiittle bit? Promise I won't tell your parents that you were breaking your grounding." Or she would if she found out who they were. Depended heavily on how she felt by the time that she went home. If she got to play with the puppy she wouldn't tell anyone anything.
